Martin Torres went home to meet his Father on January 23 after 3 weeks in the hospital fighting Covid-19.  He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Katie and his daughter Dolce and son Joshua.  What made Martin’s passing even more difficult for Katie is that her mother passed away on January 11th and her father on January 17th also both in the hospital and also from Covid-19.  Katie's parents lived with Martin and Katie so needless to say it has been a very difficult year for Katie.  To top it off, during this entire time Katie also had Covid-19 and didn’t have an easy go of it however managed to escape being hospitalized.  During the whole ordeal, she was only able to talk with them via phone as no visitations were being allowed.  She was able to speak with Martin just before he received his ventilator in the ICU and was able to let him know how much she loved and adored him.  She is staying with her sister, brother-in-law, and nephew and they have been a great source of comfort and support for her.
