Help with Funeral Expenses For Luna Kozubenko
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jennifer Manon. I am Luna's mother. Many of you know her as my little girl Hannah. When she grew up she decided she wanted a change and picked one of her favorite pen names from the stories she wrote when she was a girl. But to us, she's just our little girl.
She died suddenly in the early morning of January 8, 2022. At just 24 years old and with a full life ahead of her she had so many plans, but one of them wasn't a funeral. She was smart, talented, and vibrant.
She taught herself to read at 4 years old because I said one too many times "just give me a minute". In kindergarten she cried at all this big homework the teacher gave her, but when I went to the teacher to argue the teacher said Hannah had asked for it so she could learn faster.
When she was being homeschooled she wanted to go play and create new things so she taught herself to film, and then wrote scripts, designed the sets, directed her friends, brothers, and cousins in her creations. Later she decided to spend her spring break designing her first website at 10 years old. She took a 3-D animation class around the same time and then did that for fun as well.
About the time she was 11 the big thing was to crochet and sew outfits for her stuffed animals and then herself. She took piano lessons and soon started writing her own songs. YouTube taught her to play the guitar and then Ukulele. It is these I am so grateful for now as I have so many pictures, videos, cards, and small craft products to bring back memories of that little girl.
She went off to college and studied computer science, graduating in December of 2020 with her last class. During the first waves of the COVID pandemic, her's and Stan's planned wedding was first delayed and then delayed again and finally canceled for the year. Not wanting to wait any longer they drove over to Idaho and eloped in July.
The costs of a funeral can be just staggering and this is no different. We have had so many people ask how they can help and along with requesting all prayers you may be willing to offer we have organized this to allow for those of her family and friends who want to participate to lift the financial burden a little bit. Every bit is helpful and we love to hear stories of our beloved daughter, sister, wife, granddaughter, cousin, aunt, and friend. Maybe she was your student or coworker, I am confident that her sweet spirit made you also love her as we do.
Thank you for all the love shown to her and our families.
Funeral services and a memorial will be held soon and we will be happy to share that information with you
