My mom, Julia Wessel, lost her battle with depression on September 18,2021. She was loved by many and it saddens me to know that she is gone. She's not only a mother, but a friend, daughter and many other things. She was kind, smart, adventurous, and courageous and always stood up for others. She was not just a mom to my siblings and myself but also to many others whom she had adopted along the way. She loved them as her own and treated them like family. She was always helping others and always knew what to say. I am not great with words like my mom was. Her family would like to put her to rest and celebrate the time on earth we have had with her. She is already deeply missed and will not be forgotten. If anyone can pitch in to cover funeral expenses, we would greatly appreciate it. Everyone is invited to attend the funeral once I can get all the details in place. We plan to live stream the funeral, and will be requiring all people to wear a mask even outdoors for the event. A few of her kids and other relatives are at an increased risk from the Delta Variant of Covid-19 due to health conditions, I ask that you please respect their rights to grieve and say goodbye without risking their lives and those around them. If you are unable to properly wear a mask, I suggest you stay home and watch the live stream. My estimated date for the funeral will be September 27, 2021 at around 10am - 2pm. I will keep updates on the Facebook page entitled "In Memory of Julia Wessel" Any funds not used for funeral expenses will go directly to Lee Wessel to help with grief counseling and other necessities for Cyrus Wessel, Rejeanne Wessel and Starling Wessel.
