Help with funeral costs for grieving family

My name is Roland. My mother and stepfather were killed the weekend of June 14th 2025.

Us remaining children are trying to come up with burial and funeral costs for our mom, as well as living costs for the several young children. My stepfather's burial and funeral are being covered by his family.

My mother was the most selfless person I've ever known, and cared so much about her children. I'm doing my best to fulfill her wishes by providing the children stability as I deal with the situation. Thank you.

A near exact invoice of major costs for the funeral and burial of Cynthia is as follows:

Burial plot: $2500

Cemetery and Burial: $5750

Mortuary (includes coffin) $6131

Grave Marker: $2000

Total: 16380

I'll also be moving to accommodate taking in several of my younger siblings. We're purchasing beds and furniture necessary for housing them.

Initial new rental bill (First, Last, Deposit) ~$6000

Beds & Furniture ~$3000

And finally, we're setting aside several thousand dollars for probate/estate costs to settle her affairs.
