Help with funeral costs & expenses for Audrey

Hello, my name is Julian Bobb Jr., and I am fundraising today to help out our family with the funeral costs and final expenses for my beloved aunt, Audrey Buck. We all were shellshocked to learn of her sudden passing this past Sunday evening, 1/21/2024, on the Southside of Chicago, at 99th St. & Vincennes Ave.

As a double amputee, she was using her motorized wheelchair to get to a local store, and on the way, her wheelchair became stuck on the railroad tracks as a Metra train approached. A good Samaritan saw my aunt on the tracks and attempted to free her chair. Despite his valiant efforts, he was unable to do so, or get her out of her chair due to her being strapped in, before the train struck her, killing her instantly. The one solace is that she didn’t suffer. But we can only imagine what was going through her mind as she saw the train bearing down on her. My mother, her sister, blames herself for not having arrived at her house sooner to take her to the store. We keep asking God why he had to take her from us in this way? But there aren’t any answers. Her loss has completely blindsided us and created a void that will never be filled. My mom lost her best friend, and I lost my God mother.We’ll all miss her warmth and caring nature.

We are asking friends, family and the community if they can help us with donations. All donations will go to my aunt's sister, Barbara Buck, to help cover funeral costs and final expenses during this difficult time.
