It is with my deepest regret to inform you that Dontae Coleman AKA Foxx passed on August 18th, 2021. Dontae’s death was sudden and unexpected. Dontae was the oldest son of Tara Phillips who is also deceased, his siblings are Tatianna, Chance and Jlean. Dontae was a father to 4 young children. He was stylish, athletic, and musically inclined.He brought joy and laughter to all he encountered.Dontae was known to his friends as Foxx because he resembled the actor Jamie Foxx.Dontae was a protector and support to all whom he loved. He was a friend to many in every city he traveled to. At the time of his death he was in Minnesota. We Love and miss Dontae and would like to bring him home to Chicago and bury him near his mother We are asking for help from family and friends to bring him back to Chicago and assist with his funeral costs.
