Help with Funeral Arrangements for Regina Jones

Hi there,

This fundraiser is for my mother, Regina Jones (maiden name Robles), who passed away unexpectedly this week.

My mother was just 53 years old. She lived alone with her hamster Little Beeper but spent nearly every day visiting with a loved ones or calling my sister and I to let us know she loved us. A day didn't go by where she didn't message my sister and I using speech-to-text and we had to decode the messages because of all the errors and run-on sentences. She usually sent along a string of unrelated emojis and GIFS that only made her messages more confusing, but oh how I would love to see one of those texts in the morning again.

My mom was a bright woman with a big heart. She had some mental illnesses and her life wasn't always easy as a result. We did our best to support her and love her through it all. She loved animals, Harley Davidson motorcycles, little tattoos, the mountains, Prince ( and naturally, the color purple), and she loved her family. No matter how difficult things were for her, she was extremely proud of us and warm to those who were warm to her. She never judged and remained optimistic even through some of her lowest lows.

Life is never fair. But thanks to her sisters, parents, and all of her family, she knew she was loved.

My mother has expressed to both my sister and I that when she died, she wanted to be with my father. Unfortunately, she lived on disability and didn't have a savings or insurance policy, and our family can only pitch in so much.

We want to honor her wishes and put her to rest with my dad, who we lost in 2013.

I never like to ask for money, but I want to honor my mom's wishes, and we are unable to raise the funds on our own.

And so I am asking for your help. Every little bit makes a difference. My sister and I are taking time off work to make the arrangements and we unfortunately can't do it on our own.
