On the night of November 28th, our father, Luis, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones. He bravely fought cancer for almost two years, and was in hospice care for the final month. Our family is heartbroken and all we want to do now is honor and remember him the way he was in life: smart, funny, insanely charming, a hard worker, and above all someone who loved his children and grandchildren very much. His departure leaves a hole in our hearts and we will all miss him deeply.
Thankfully, Dad had Medicare to fully cover his medical and hospice costs but we are currently working to gather the full funds for his funeral service (including cremation). Our plan is to have a smaller memorial at the funeral home, and a Mass funeral service at St. Jerome Catholic Church.
I know times are hard for everyone right now and we deeply appreciate anyone who is able to help chip in. Thank you so much.
