Hello, my name is Shannon and I am close friends with Theresa and Barry.
With a heavy heart, I say our beloved friend, brother, son, husband, and Daddy, Barry Duncan unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, January 22nd. This was a shock to us all and is undoubtedly heartbreaking. Barry was an amazing man. He would help anyone he could. He had an amazing smile and a laugh we will all remember. Barry was talented and always working on a new project. He was a kind man with a big heart. More importantly, he was a man that loved his family with no end. Barry was devoted to Theresa and was an amazing Daddy to their precious boy. This is not something that anyone was ready for. I am asking for help to assist Theresa and the family cover funeral and memorial costs.
Barry was an amazing man who married a selfless, kind, and hardworking woman. Anyone that knows Theresa can attest to her heart and selflessness. Theresa is a Special Education teacher in Culpeper. She gives every day to a special group of kids and pours her heart into her work and her family. With that said we all know teachers are grossly underpaid and with the added costs of funeral expenses and loss of time from work, your donations to help the family would be more than appreciated. A donation of any size would be helpful.
The funds raised will go directly to funeral expenses to lay Barry to rest. Anything over that will go directly to Theresa and her son to assist with the loss of income and added expenses related to Barry's passing.
