Help With Funds After Being Targeted By Racists

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.

My name is Hari Singh and I have blessed to be an Amritdhari Sikh. I am a white convert to Sikhi, but unfortunately, I lived in a white area which was intolerant to me dressing in traditional Sikh clothing.

After months of sporadic racist abuse, I was targeted with threats of violence and an attempt to murder me. Some of the people involved were the ones targeting me with anti-Sikh hate crimes, and they smashed up my car, and rammed a van into my car to try kill me. I managed to move out of the way in time, but could have been killed.

I have now had to abandon my home of 8 years and move out of the area for my own safety. Police have been informed, but failed to charge the man with attempted murder even though he threatened me in the presence of two police officers that he would murder me, and then came back to do it the following day.

I have had overwhelming support from the Sikh community, who have been shocked by the level of anti-Sikh hatred in this incident.

I will forever be grateful to all that help, and have helped me, and I hope to repay that kindness in full for the rest of my life
