Our dear friend Flávio Pak was in a serious car accident Tuesday January 15. He is in the hospital and his family in Brazil and in the US are in touch.

He is in stable condition, but we don't know many details yet about his condition so please give his family some privacy at this time.

The forró community knows Flavio as a great friend, dance partner, and loving dad. He is instrumental in helping foster the growth of the the forró dance community in San Francisco Bay Area over the last year.

These funds will help him and his family with his recovery! Get well soon Flávio!
