Help with Fire Recovery for Justin Powers
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Nancilee, and I have opened this fundraising account because there was a massive fire on May 5th, 2022 that consumed the home of our almost 21-yr-old son, Justin; in Manassas. Luckily neither Justin, nor his roommate, were home when the inferno began and ultimately took over. Sadly, the fire began from a brand new little plug-in air freshener. Justin lost literally everything he owned, except his vehicle and the clothes he was wearing that day. While he did have renter’s insurance in place, it was a minimal amount of coverage (HENCE we’ve learned a valuable lesson with that), and it has been a difficult road thus far - as he has YET to be reimbursed for ANY thing. He is very responsible, works long hours every day, paid his rent on time, and always puts others before himself. This has been devastating to him, to say the least. He has had to move back in with us, in Culpeper, which unfortunately causes him to have a 2-hour-round-trip commute each day for work … just as gas prices have also become astronomical. Instead of being able to begin replacing his belongings such as clothes, toiletries, etc, he’s having to put most of his income towards gas for his commute. We’ve been working on providing as many things for him as possible to make him somewhat more comfortable in the aftermath - but it has become clear that some outside help would be a huge blessing for him. If you are able, I am sincerely asking that you contribute any amount you’re comfortable with, to this account - and all funds will go directly to him to recover from this disaster. If you are not able to contribute at this time, I understand and respectfully ask that you please share this, any- and every- where, and over and over again, in the hopes that others may be able to contribute. I’ve added a goal amount to this account because I was forced to however, as we all know, every penny indeed adds up in the long run. Anything contributed would be a blessing and would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance to anyone who contributes and/or shares! Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. MANY THANKS!
