Help with financial stress

Six years ago my beloved Patrick and I were we reunited after 20-plus years apart we brought 6 kids and 5 grand kids together creating family and we had only dreamed of. However fate and dreams have a funny way of playing out. In order for our dreams to have a chance to continue I am reaching out to friends and family in the hope you are able to help in any way possible Financial, prayers, driving to appointments, a more costly home, and lastly, spreading the word.
Two years ago Patrick placed his faith in me and we move to Georgia from my job. It was a tough year to say the least. Between my health issues and being out on disability, his difficulty finding work and most of all missing family and friends. There is much we loved about Georgia the bugs were not one of them, including our Newfound friends. In the end we knew our home was back in Wisconsin. We put all of our belongings into storage, said our goodbyes, pack the car and came back home. Home to fulfil the dream of buying land, Building our home and living off the grid. We knew the struggles we would face ahead of us. Financially we were strapped, we had emptied our savings due to my health issues, being out on disability, the cost of storage and two cross country moves. In the end we decided everything would work out, we had each other and family and friends. Besides, after so many years apart we knew it in our hearts nothing would tear our family apart.
Our faith was well place. I was cleared for work and we both receive promotions with our prior employers. Thanks to our promotions we saved a bit quicker, that's allowing us to move out of the family's home we had been staying yet. We loved our new place it was very our belongings were in Georgia, but it was ours and we were together.
Again we saved enough to retrieve our belongings from Georgia only to have our one and only car died. The money we can save went back towards a new vehicle and leaving us with a car payment. Not how we had planned it but we still had each other, family and friends. Without missing a step we go back to saving. Being here together matters more than having our belongings from Storage.
At last we had the money saved and time off from work to retrieve our belongings however on December 26th couple of weeks prior to our scheduled leave to retrieve our belongings Patrick went to Urgent Care due to breathing issues. Is x-ray showed a mass and from there he was admitted and diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. He spent the next week in the hospital undergoing chemotherapy, numerous X-rays, and MRI, two cats cans, and a couple of biopsies. In addition to the cancer, they found the monia and drained 2 liters of liquid from his lung.
Since his diagnosis he has had another week laundry Hospital stay due to an ongoing lung infection. Due to an air leak in his lung the doctors are unable to place a chest tube as the risks outweigh the benefits. Upon his discharge from the hospital Patrick is required to administer an IV antibiotic daily via a PICC line in his arm . The long infection has caused a delay in him receiving chemotherapy which is inadvertently creating a larger issue of the cancer spreading.
As everyone can see our plans and dreams have been placed on hold. All of our energy and income is now placed on patrickswell Bering. Curing small cell lung cancer does not have the greatest odds. I do know if anyone can he will, he is strong and determined fighter.
However, as so many of you know with an illness like this there are other factors at play. Everyday normal stresses. We have to find somewhere affordable to live as we only have my income. The doctors are encouraging him to apply for disability which means he loses his life insurance policy which goes towards funeral costs, college and any leftover bills I will encounter. In addition, we have accrued a tremendous amount of debt due to medical bills, test, hospital stays and medications. None of which will be ending anytime soon. On the bright side, as long as the bills keep accruing the family and I have him to share our life and dreams with.
I know many people reading this have been, or are, where we are in our lives right now. For that I offer my sincerest condolences and plead with you to help us in any way you are able. A simple prayer or thought comma any limit little monetary amount or just by liking and sharing again, thank you, we appreciate any help and all well wishes.
