Help with finances from Luca’s ICU stay

Hey family and friends, as some of you know and those that don’t, we have been at Children’s Hospital in the ICU since Saturday morning, March 5th with Luca (our youngest, at 9 months). We made the decision to bring him in due to his rapid breathing, high fevers, acting lethargic, and not wanting to eat. After many doctor’s visits the previous week and all tests that were done, he ended up testing positive for the human metapneumovirus. It is very common, but for infants it can take a turn pretty quickly. It settled into Luca’s lungs requiring him to need high flow and oxygen, so we were admitted into the ICU and have been here since. He has improved each day and is on the uphill hopefully, but we are not sure of when we will be out yet. We are extremely thankful for the care that he is in and I know we are where we need to be, however, the long stay has us extremely stressed and overwhelmed about what the financial burden this could cause. Any and all donations will be put towards the medical bills we will face when we are discharged. Thank you in advance to everyone, we know we will be home soon!
