Wednesday 8/25/2021 My little sister Debra Lee Knipe lost her 3 year battle with cervical cancer.

My little sister was all I have had since losing our mother as teenagers.

She was always there for me through it all good and bad. She was there for my 3 sons when I couldnt be and for that I will never get to show her my true appreciation.

To others she was a sincere friend always there no matter how much time had passed.

Her battle with cervical cancer has been the toughest fight of her life. With her being a private person not many knew of her fight. She was never one to ask for pitty or help even when she knew she needed it. Debra was very strong and prideful to the end.

She leaves behind 1 child, my niece Kiaria.

Kiaria was her world. Sadly Kiaria lost both her parents within 1 weeks time.

So one could imagine how overwhelming things are for her, with every coming day an uncertainty.

Since my little sister would never ask for help when she was here with us, I am asking for help for her.

I am starting this fundraiser to help cover the cost of my sisters final wishes.

The creamation and all that entails. The 3 years Debra was fighting cervical cancer took more than her life, it took any money she had set aside and more.

So I am asking for help to give my little sister the final part of her journey home. While hopefully allowing her daughter some time to grieve without worrying about the cost of saying 1 final goodbye.

Anything no matter how big or small matters. The funds raised here will go to the final expenses for Debra, anything left over we plan to split with part going to cervical cancer awareness and prevention, and the the other part to her daughter, to give her time so she can grieve the loss of both parents without worry.
