Dear Family and Friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I write to tell you that our dear Aunt Helaine Daniels (my beloved big sister Olayinka’s mom) died on Thursday, 9/18/25. It is a very painful moment for our family right now, and we are trying to arrange for settling of medical/skilled nursing bills as well as plan for the funeral.

We want to give Aunty Helaine a respectful service that celebrates who she was and how much she was loved. However, the cost of moving her remains from Mexico City to Ohio, securing a funeral home, and other related funeral expenses has created a financial challenge.

To help cover these costs, we’ve started a GoFundMe. Our goal is to raise $10,000 in order to proceed with the service. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean so much to us.
