Hello my name is Melissa. My son Aiden’s journey started a couple years ago when he started having excessive thirst and urination issues. We later discovered he had a condition called diabetes insipidus which was caused from a tumor on his pituitary gland. This has caused many growth and hormone issues. Some which will forever be life long. The area of the brain was too dangerous to biopsy. So we have waited… Now almost two years later another tumor has shown up in his back. His oncologist immediately ordered a bone biopsy. Today the results came back as she suspected, it’s a condition called LCH. The past few weeks and many weeks ahead of us are about to get pretty chaotic. The treatment for this will be Aiden having a port put in place and to begin chemotherapy as soon as next week. I’ve missed a lot of work the past two weeks and unfortunately bills are adding up. If anyone has it in their heart to donate the proceeds will go towards rent, utilities and transportation to and from appointments.
