Hello, my name is Mitzi Bolton Harris , and I’m trying to raise money to cover so many expenses while I can not work and do not receive PTO for being off work due to the tragic events that have put my dear sweet Mother, Brenda Bolton, in MICU. She is in a coma, on a ventilator, and now has severe brain damage. We are not sure how much time she has left on this earth. Or what the near future holds for her and my family. And not even sure we have the money to bury her if that is what it’s going to come to her unfortunately in the next few days or weeks.

I am an only child, I’m all my mother has. She is my world and raised me alone as a single mother. She is the strongest woman I’ve ever known and I owe my life to her. She has been there for me through my ups and downs in this life. I’m not quite sure how to survive without her. It is my duty as her only child, to make sure she is well taken care of and receives the care she needs for the rest of her time on this earth before she gains her wings to go to be with our Father God in Heaven.

My heart is broken in pieces to say the very least.

I have so much to figure out and so much on my shoulders with worrying about her and if she will be able to survive all she’s been through. Chances are very slim from her doctors perspectives.

And as if that wasn’t enough, I am not in a position to go without pay, but unfortunately that’s exactly what I have to do because my mother needs me and I want to spend what little time she may have left on this earth with her. Due to Covid restrictions, the hospital only allows me to visit and sit with her for limited hours. I am falling apart. And as if I needed anything else to worry about right now, the difficulties worrying about how things will be paid and how I will make it with no income, how a funeral will be paid, and much more is weighing on me. However, I do trust in God. I believe he’s led me to take a leap of faith and reach out for help. I’m not one to ever ask for anything, but I have to swallow my pride at this moment and reach out to you all who may be in a better position than we are at this time, and ask for your help. I am a firm believer in paying it forward. And I know that many of you are caring people, with good hearts, who want to help

others in need... just like my mother and I would do.
