My name is Sarah and I’m 37 years old. After losing our home to foreclosure in 2020, I was diagnosed with breast cancer (Invasive ductal carcinoma; er+ pr+ her2-; stage 2a, grade 3) I’ve been having treatments since December, and will continue through July 2022.

Due to covid and my compromised immune system/ treatment side effects, I’ve been unable to work.

As much as it has pained and humbles me, I’m reaching out for help.

New Jersey denied my disability claim. I’m in the process of appealing that decision. Meanwhile, the bills are piling up.

The funds raised will go to monthly expenses, mobility aids, and I will also be able to purchase items to help with the side effects. Some examples are: rent, utilities, medication not covered by insurance, wigs, shower chair, etc...

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
