I’m setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of my husband, our children, and myself with the unexpected death of Paula. She was a devoted grandmother, mother, and so much more. In 32 years of being in her life I cannot recall a time that she ever put herself first. She lived her life in service to others and was a beautiful example of selflessness. Paula has been my second mom since 1992 & from day one loved me like her own. Sunday May 26 I received a phone call from her asking for help. I was at her side in less than a minute, and had to begin life saving measures while praying for her life to be spared & trying to bring peace to this tragic situation. EMT arrived and worked hard to bring her back to us. Unfortunately, we were forced to say goodbye too soon. My husband is Paula’s only child, so it is the two of us & our two adult children picking up the pieces & attempting to sort all of this out. Our family is rocked by this tragedy, and are not able to grieve this loss as of yet, due to the rush in having to take care of legalities, property, burial arrangements, and other financial obligations in relation to her passing. It’s extremely difficult to put this GoFundMe together, as we do not ask for help, especially financial help, but this is more than expected. We are grateful Mom is in Heaven with her beloved family & no longer hurting. We have peace with her passing, but are trying to find time to process the tragic events leading to her death.
