Need Help with Expenses to Care for Son

On Saturday, August 30th I received a 911 call that my son, Michael had experienced a massive stroke. I was told that he was on a ventilator and was not expected to survive. My heart dropped. My son Michael resides in Colorado and I am in California. As soon as possible, I was on a plane to Colorado. I arrived at Switzerland hospital, known as Colorado's Brain Team, where doctors and nurses battled for Michael's life.
After five days, the ventilator was removed to allow Michael to breathe on his own and he is now stable. Many prayers have gone up with pleas for Michael's life and healing. Hallelujah, I am so grateful for his life and answered prayer and I am praising God!
However, Doctors are telling me his heart is weak. His left side is paralyzed as a result of the stroke. Doctors are placing Michael in rehab for 6 months to 1 year. This presents a serious hardship for me and family as we will have to travel back and forth to Colorado from California. Michael has no relatives in Colorado and would be left to tow the journey of rehabilitation and healing on his own along without family members present.
My husband and I are both retired and do not have the funds for multiple trips back and forth to Colorado from California. I am requesting your help to finance the airline fare, rental car, and hotel travel expenses.
It was very difficult to post this request and it is humbling. I am usually the one doing the giving. I am hopeful that you will be touched by my story and moved to help out. I pray in advance that every person contributing to this cause be blessed 100 fold.
