Hi, I'm Laurie and I'm fundraising for my son Noah. Noah was born with an immune deficiency which makes him more prone to infection, cancers, organ inflammation and gi issues. He receives weekly igg replacement to give him some form of antibodies. The treatment comes from plasma donors and their antibodies are extracted and used to infuse into Noah. During the past year Noah has been in and out of the hospital due to gi issues and rapid weight loss. He has lost 70 lbs in the past year and has again been hospitalized at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. We live a little over 2 hours away so we must travel for all doctors appointments and admissions. I am blessed to have amazing bosses at my job who are very understanding and flexible with my schedule to work around Noah's needs. Unfortunately all of the time I miss is unpaid and this current admission will be 1-2 weeks maybe more. I have debated whether or not to start this campaign but there are talks of Noah having a g tube surgically placed during our visit which would mean more trips and more medical expenses. I am hoping by raising this money for Noah it will help with his medical expenses. I want to thank all of my friends who have been with us during this roller-coaster of a year.
