Help With Expenses for New Widow Tammi Sponseller

Hello, we are the children of Bob and Tammi Sponseller (Tiffany, Taylor, and Rob). Our father, Robert Sponseller, was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer on February 21st 2023. By the time they found the cancer, it had already fully spread to the lungs and lymph nodes and had started spreading to the brain. Just eleven short weeks later, he succumbed to his cancer and passed into the loving arms of Jesus on May 9th.

Our father's illness and passing came very unexpectedly and, sadly, at the worst possible time. Bob had recently been forced to retire due to a torn rotator cuff making it impossible for him to perform his job any longer. Because of this, he was in between health insurance companies, had lost his life insurance through his company, and was just getting on disability. This caused severe financial strain through his short cancer journey and has devastated our mom financially after his passing. She is now not only grieving the loss of her husband, but is left without any money to cover the medical, funeral, and living expenses as she tries to navigate life as a widow. We are raising funds to try and help her pay off the remaining medical bills and get her on her feet while she tries to earn a living through either her art business or a new job.

Our dad was loved around the world and we know that it would break his heart to see his wife left in such a predicament financially. He thought that his add on life insurance coverage would take care of her, however the company is claiming that it was accidental coverage only and does not cover cancer. We are hoping that his family and friends will all join us in rallying around Tammi to help her during her time of grief and need.
