My name is Susan, and I am reaching out during the most difficult time of my life. On the same day, I lost both my beloved father, John E Croon, III, and my dear sister, Margaret Croon. My father was a Vietnam Veteran who dedicated his life to God, family, and his music, playing the organ and piano professionally since he was eleven years old. He was a proud member of the Churchland High School marching band in Virginia, joined the Air Force, and was stationed at Langley Air Force Base. Throughout his life, he received numerous awards and honors for his musical talents, even helping to start a church overseas with my mother. His love for music, especially classical jazz, touched so many lives.
My sister Margaret was born in Okinawa, Japan, and was a devoted mother to her three beautiful children. She was on her way to take my mother to Savannah Hospice to see my father one last time when she suddenly felt unwell. She told her daughter to call 911, but despite the efforts of EMS, she passed away shortly after. The shock and pain of losing them both within such a short time is unimaginable.
We are now facing the overwhelming challenge of arranging funeral services for both my father and sister. The expenses are more than we can manage on our own, and we are in desperate need of help. Any support you can offer during this heartbreaking time would mean the world to our family. Your kindness and generosity will help us honor their memories and give them the farewell they deserve. Any help is deeply appreciated during this difficult time.
Thank you sincerely for all the calls, texts, emails, prayers, and gifts these past few weeks. They mean more to my family than words can say. Please continue to pray for my family, especially for my mother, as she’s been diagnosed with the same condition that took out my father.
