My name is Tina for those who do not know me. I am looking to raise money for my cousin Blaire Lamina. blaire son Maddox is having surgery to amputate both of his legs and she’s gonna need a little financial help. I am hoping as a community we can all come together and help her out the best that we can.

The last thing that a single mother wants to have to worry about is wondering if she’s gonna have a roof over her children’s head, lights on, food on the table and night care for Maddox as she works the night shift.

Maddox lives in Georgia. He currently receives all speciality care in BCH Boston Children Hosptial) except for cardiology.

Maddox is a medically complex teen with history of caudal regression syndrome, heterotaxy syndrome, congenital heart disease (single ventricle heart, complete AV defect s/p multiple procedures), history of anal stenosis, s/p diverting colostomy, neurogenic bladder with mitrofanoff, and asplenia. He is nonambulatory and dependent on a wheelchair for short and long distances.

Maddox will be having his amputation of both legs in July. They will be amputating one leg, and then letting the cells rejuvenate themselves, making sure that his heart is strong enough to go into the next surgery and then will be amputating the next leg. They will be staying in Boston for approximately two weeks and then we will be doing the rest of recovery in Georgia.
