Last week, what was supposed to be a fairly simple procedure, went horribly wrong, and left our family with a tremendous loss.
My Father in Law, Paul Lyle Brungraber was born in Wisconsin and brought his family here to Tucson, Arizona in the early 80's. Paul and my beautiful Mother in Law Cindy, have an amazing love story of 45 years, within that time, raising 3 amazingly strong and big hearted men, Chad, Travis and Michael Brungraber.
Paul was a Mechanic and owned a shop here in town for many years. He had a passion for cars, driving and traveling with his Wife, and playing music, in which he learned as a child himself and enjoyed sharing that passion with his loved ones.
Paul was an out going, neighborly, but tough man. Fiercely protective of his family, and if you threatened or wronged them, he instantly turned into someone you didn't want to mess with. He believed in standing up for yourself and what you thought was right. He believed in helping others immensely and his generosity spoke volumes, especially for those he loved, and he gave everything he possibly could to make sure they were taken care of. If there was ever a mixture of stubborness, kindness and love, it was him. That's what made him so special.
Holidays were always filled with family videos and photos playing on the television, to show off his beautiful family to everyone who walked in the door. His pride for his family, his wife Cindy, his boys, his 10 Grandbabies, and 1 Great Grandson, shone brighter than I've ever seen before in anyone. His stories about his childhood and raising his own boys, were never ones you ever forgot and always had us laughing until we cried or wondering how everyone was still here, always in fun and love and good times.
He was taken too soon. Leaving his Wife, my Mother in Law, with unexpected expenses, and a grief that no one could ever explain. Our family is filled with another tragic void, and I'm asking for your help, in not easing our families pain, but the financial burden that death can bring along with it.
Anything would be greatly appreciated and as Paul would always say
"Catch you on the Flipper." <3
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
