I Never Imagined I'd Have to Ask for Help Like This. I'm Scared, and I Don't Know Where Else to Turn.

After losing my mother, I stepped forward to handle her estate. I was grieving her loss trying to process the sudden responsibility of navigating a complicated legal and financial process I had never experienced before.

Unfortunately, I now find myself facing devastating consequences because I was lied to by the realtor and given incorrect information and guidance by my late stepfather who ran away from a drunk driving hit and run. He left the home abandoned without telling me, moved to another state & squatters moved in. Now I don't even know where my mothers or brothers ashes are. He has now passed due to another drunk driving related incident so I cannot go after him for this.

I had relied on the realtor and stepfather who gave me false information during the probate process. I believed I was handling things appropriately based on what I had been told and now because of that I'm facing to repay nearly $81,000 within a matter of months.

I've never been in legal trouble before. I've never imagined I would find myself in a position like this. I'm scared of what could happen, scared of what this means for my future, and terrified of how I'm supposed to come up with an amount of money that feels completely impossible to reach.

Every donation will help me face this enormous challenge and work toward resolving the situation. I've been living in constant fear of what comes next unable to eat or sleep and desperately need help.
