Hi everyone, for those of you who do not know my parents house had an electrical fire in their attic. Thankfully everyone made it out safety and the fire department was able to save the home.
Since my parents are not people to ask for help I am going to do it for them.
The five of them will have to be living in a hotel for the next 1-3 months while insurance fixes the wiring that we have come to find out is not at all within code through the whole house. If anyone can imagine adjusting to this for anyone would be rather difficult.
They are completely worried about financing for the repairs as well as refurnishing the home from fire and smoke damage. This go fund me is to help for the deductible required for insurance, food, living arrangements, clothes, and to help buy the furniture lost in this terrible event. We are extremely grateful and feel extremely blessed that it happened during the day while everyone was home to contain it with the homes fire extinguisher while we waited for the fire department to get there and save the home. I just want to help make this as painless as possible for my parents and siblings.
