Hi, my name is Raha, and I’m raising funds following the sudden loss of my mother.

Her passing left us needing time to sort, clear, and move her belongings while also managing immediate living costs. Because I live with a chronic illness that includes severe fatigue, it’s really hard and everything related to this process has fallen to me alone.

Until recently, my mom helped support my daughter with food and a small allowance, as my own capacity to work has been limited due to my health. I was able to cover last month’s rent at my mom’s flat using money that was left in her account, but I now need help with the next & final rent payment, council tax, as well as essential bills.

I’m also facing unavoidable costs for moving and storage, aswell as help with clearing and disposing of furniture and belongings. In addition, I need support with household bills such as gas and electricity, as well as food and essential supplements.

This fundraiser is to help cover essential costs during this difficult transition — rent, bills, moving and storage, and basic living expenses — while I do my best to stabilise our situation.

I’m not even calculating the cost of my mother’s final place of rest.
