Help with emergency roof repairs at Mixed Blood Theatre!

Please HELP Mixed Blood Theatre repair our roof!

This beautiful 1887 firehouse in Cedar Riverside is the cherished Minneapolis building that we call home. The time has come to replace the roof and it could not be put off any longer. So we are asking for your help.

Mixed Blood have been the caretakers of this Historic Landmark building for almost 50 years!! We not only use this building for groundbreaking theater, but also maintain this beautiful space for the community.

Providing:

A stage for theater companies that don't have one.

A neighborhood Town Hall for political and social causes.

A Youth Center for local residents.

A food bank in 2020 during the covid lockdowns and social uprising.

A meeting space for community action groups.

And so much more.

We want to maintain and protect this building for ourselves, the arts community, for Cedar Riverside, and for everyone who values Minneapolis history.
