Help with My Mom Elva's Holistic Care Payments

Hi family and friends! Welcome all, and Happy New Year to all of you beautiful people. I am creating this fundraiser for our mother, Elva, to receive medicine through natural healing. I know that most of us are in tough times financially due to this on-going pandemic forcing everyone to either work from home or even apply for unemployment which I currently am on as well. Absolutely any amount of money is more than enough to help. Now, before I get into the natural healing, here’s a little background story on our mother Elva. If you know our mother personally, you know that she is the most sweet, caring and loving person you will ever meet. If you have ever had her cooking, you know that she will have you leaving full for the rest of the week and if you aren’t hungry, she will most definitely have your to-go plate ready before you leave. Elva is a mother of five beautiful grown men. She is also a grandmother to five gracious, free-spirited grandchildren, two nieces and three nephews. She loves her grandchildren dearly and wants to live long enough to watch them all grow into their own personalities. However, Elva has been diagnosed with a couple of illnesses and for starters, one of them was kidney failure. For those of you who don’t know, my mother Elva has undergone kidney surgery 3 years ago in 2018. I was fortunate enough to donate one of my kidneys to her. Prior to this transplant she was also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Syncope, and soon after anxiety and depression. Post-transplant, over the course of 2 years, she was diagnosed with Addison’s Disease, also known as Adrenal Insufficiency, Neuralgia, and Arthritis. She’s currently on 17 medications on top of a couple of vitamins she has to take. Since the transplant, the number of medications she has taken over the years has done a significant amount of damage to her, physically and emotionally. With the research that I have done on the medications she’s been taking, I can honestly say that I can no longer bare the sight of her body slowly deteriorating from these medications that are a temporary fix for her instead of a long term health benefit. I took it upon myself to do some research on Holistic health and found that natural healing is super beneficial for anyone and everyone. For those who do not know, Holistic medicine is a form of healing that considers the whole person - body, mind, spirit and emotions - in the quest for optimal health and wellness.  This is all possible by gaining proper balance in life. The cost for this treatment is $2,100. Even with this on-going pandemic one of my brothers was able to pay $650 which brought the total down to $1,450. I set our goal for $1,500 just to cover any bank and tax fees as well as any other holistic treatment costs she may need such as acupuncture and/or naturopathy. For our mother to receive this type treatment would be such a blessing that we will be forever grateful for. I hope that with anyone reading this, they can understand the impact that Holistic healing can have on your life as much as it will on our mothers life. My family and I are most definitely putting as much as we can to lower the goal but we unfortunately aren’t able to reach our goal on our own as to why we are all here. I personally want to thank each and every one of you beautiful souls for supporting this cause. It means the world to me and my brothers, as well as the rest of the family.
