Dear Friends,

As some of you may know, my beloved Grandson, Elijah "Eli" Ivers was diagnosed with Juvenile Huntington's Disease in 2020. Huntington's Disease is a vicious disease with no known cure. Eli was twelve years old when complications from this terrible disease took him from us on the day after Christmas. All of this comes only two short years since we lost Eli's younger brother Ian to the same awful disease.

We are completely devastated by this situation and are struggling to find the funds to cover the costs of his final expenses. These expenses include: funeral costs, medical bills, and help with travel costs for Eli's immediate family.

It seems so much for one family to bear alone. I am starting a Go Fund Me to ask for help for our family in these trying times. We want to give Eli the memorial that he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.
