Douglas Clement McCart was raised in Vallejo, California. He was an amazingly kind man, despite his apparant rough demeanor. Those that knew him know that he would do whatever he could, and sometimes more, for anyone. He loved the ocean and travel. He had a passion for prospecting, gemology, and coin collecting. He was an amazing father, grandfather and friend. He loved animals and was a frequent supporter of animal rights and ending animal homelessness. Though his latter years were wrought with tribulations he spent them striving to teach perseverance and positivity to his son and grandchildren (Douglas, Jonathon II, and Jason McCart). travel welll dad i miss you more than words can explain. And will cherish every moment i had with you. .................
