Help with Deb’s Medical Expenses

Hello, I am Holly, Deb’s daughter and I am putting this Go Fund Me together for my mom, Deb Goodrich. On Saturday, September 11th my mom and dad were out riding their motorcycles as they love to do. Both are experienced riders but as my mom has said, she looked down, lost control, hit a bump and next thing she remembers is being in the grass. She was then life flighted to the ER to find multiple injuries including a fracture on her C5 and a slight brain bleed. It’s been a stressful week of surgeries (4 in total): an x-fix, then rod and pins/screws in her tibia and ankle along with a splint for her fibula, both wrists have plates, pins and one has screws for a dislocation and finally she has a rod in her humorous and splint for additional fractures. We have seen countless doctors, nurses and other staff and if it weren’t for them my mom might not be alive today and be able to fully recover. She is currently in the hospital awaiting next steps in her recovery process which will likely include inpatient rehabilitation that may not be covered by insurance. All her breaks are non weight baring and will need specialized attention to navigate since she truly has only one extremity that wasn’t broken. We are graciously asking for any donation, big or small to help with the mounting medical bills and continued care she will need all while both my parents aren’t able to work. They are both extremely hard working people and would never ask for help but this is one instance where we (my sister and I) both know that they do. Thank you!
