Most of you know that the day after my mom passed away, my doctors found a large mass attached to my ovary (ovarian cancer). For the last three months I have been in and out of doctor’s offices, poked and prodded, and in and out of the hospital. I had the mass and all my reproductive organs removed two weeks ago (we are still pending the results) and a four day lovely stay in St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Because of my pride I have been very apprehensive about doing this, but since the bills have been pouring in, I’m coming to the realization that this is going to leave me significantly struggling financially. For 2023 I haven’t met much my deductible and max out-of-pocket of $5000 because I never go to the doctor AND in three more days that will reset again back to zero deductible met. This couldn’t happen at a worse time that’s why I decided to post this and humbly asked for help.

Many of you have reached out, asking how you can help and many have stated “I’ll buy you a drink or take you out to dinner when you’re feeling better.“ I’m asking for that drink or dinner ahead of time. No matter how small the amount, every little bit helps. If you can’t give anything at all but prayers, that’s greatly appreciated also. I understand it’s a bad time of year for everyone so I just want to say thank you for whatever you can help with and taking the time to read this.
