Help with Danyka's Surgery Bills

Hi, I'm Bonnie and family to the girl that a driver hit in Vista Woods on Saturday, December 3rd. Danyka was walking on Choptank, not too far from the elementary school, with her younger brother when a driver hit her full force. She was severely injured and airlifted to Fairfax Inova hospital and immediately had four surgeries. She was moved to a new hospital in Norfolk yesterday for continued care. Doctors say her recovery will be very lengthy as she will require several additional surgeries and extensive rehabilitation. Danyka's mother is my cousin. Her grandmother and aunts are on this fundraiser team to help their daughter and sister be able to fund the necessary medical treatment that Danyka will need to recover as best as possible.

Danyka sustained severe injuries from being hit by the car. Her injuries include head trauma, shattered pelvic bone, hand, finger, hip, and leg injuries. The driver was arrested at the scene and put in jail without bond.

I just saw Danyka at Thanksgiving. She told me about her plans to finish high school and her dream of joining the Marines. She is such a strong young woman braving this emergency!

Please consider helping Danyka's parents pay for the multiple surgeries and medical bills that they will have over the next while.
