On March 20th, my world changed forever when my husband passed away suddenly from an aggressive form of cancer. The illness spread so quickly that we barely had time to process what was happening. For the past five years, he was unable to work, and we were living on our social security with no savings to fall back on. Because of this, we did not have life insurance, and now I am facing expenses that I simply cannot manage alone.
Right now, his body is still in the hospital morgue, and I am struggling to cover the costs of cremation and moving him. On top of that, April’s rent and utilities are due, and I am overwhelmed by the financial burden. Every day is a challenge, but I am doing my best to keep the Faith and move forward, even when it feels impossible.
I am reaching out for help during this incredibly difficult time. Any support, no matter how small, will make a difference and help me give my husband the dignity he deserves while keeping a roof over my head. Thank you for reading my story and for any kindness you can offer.
