Hi, My name is Alisha Laffin and I am the owner of Five Star Athletics. We found out we lost a coach, a mother of 3 beautiful kids and I have organized a Go Fund Me in support of Katina Latham (Courtney’s mother) to help with all funeral expenses. 

Courtney was a very loving, caring mother who would go over and beyond to give her children an amazing life. She was a single mom of 3 and lived every minute for them. I was always inspired by her effort and always knew I could count on Courtney. This year Courtney was going to spend her first year as my shadow to assist me in competition classes, and she was SO excited. She was a beginner tumbling coach and had never gotten class time yet …and this was to be the year as she had proven she could take the step. Courtney was full of life and could smile through her eyes alone. She loved watching her kids get new skills and perform. In light of her tragic and unexpected passing I know I have the ability to reach so many. Funds raised will help the family with unexpected funeral arrangements or needs they were not expecting. 100% of money raised will go to family and any excess funds raised will be given to the family to provide a trust fund for the children of Courtney. Please help us reach our goal! Our a Five Star family has been hit more than once this year with tragedy. It’s unbelievable! There is NO doubt Courtney would give you her last piece of bread even if she were starving. It’s our turn to share her same empathetic loving nature. Love you Courtney!
