Help with costs for Sierra and Shane

Sierra had multiple episodes again, and still cannot return to work until further notice.. (twice in August, got discharged Sept 1) Then she got admitted again September 19th for a day in Altoona ED, then got transferred to ShadySide in Pittsburgh yet again, where she is currently receiving treatment. Her triglycerides are almost at 2,000. We are patiently waiting for them to go down. However, if they do not reach a lower number soon the Drs will have to either do the peg tube in her belly for a feeding tube, or place a stent in her pancreas. As always prayers are welcome and any little bit of a donation helps! We are so thankful for everyone who reaches out, sends their love and prayers and continued support <3
Just some updates:
On Tuesday, June 6th Sierra went to the Altoona ER bc her pain had increased since she got discharged from McGees. There she got a CT scan. When the results came back it showed that she had two clots in her belly, fluid around her pancreas, and necrosis (dead pancreas tissue) and her spleen was enlarged. From that point she was then life flighted to Presbyterian ICU in Pittsburgh. The pancreas had also caused injury to the liver as well, so that is being monitored daily. She was put on Heparin to help with the blood clots. The doctors thought the best way to let the pancreas heal and the pain to ease up was to administer a feeding tube. Sierra will be hooked up to this tube for about 4-6 weeks which means no solid food for the time being. For those of you that know how she is with her food, I’m sure this is very hard for her. Unfortunately this is going to keep Sierra off work for much longer than anyone anticipated. As always any donation helps and prayers are more than welcomed!! We want to thank everyone so much who has already done so. It means more than you all know!

As most people know by now, Sierra has been diagnosed with pancreatitis, something that’s been causing her issues for well over a year now. About a little over a week ago now Sierra had complications with her pancreatitis causing her to have to be life flighted to McGees woman’s hospital in Pitt. What some people don’t know is a few months ago Sierra and Shane found out they were expecting! They found out the gender, little Cameron Thomas was a boy and they were very excited. Unfortunately he did not make it, and Sierra as well almost didn’t make it herself. (Thank god she did) she was on a breathing tube, in a medically induced coma, etc. She’s doing sooo much better today but still has an extremely long road ahead of her. She’s still currently in the hospital in Pittsburgh where Shane is by her side as well as her parents…leaving them all to miss work which ultimately will and has put them behind financially. We’re asking for even the smallest bit of help just so they can manage until they’re able to get back on their feet. Anything at all is appreciated and if you can’t donate, prayers are more than welcomed as well!
