Help with Conner’s medical bills!

Hi everyone! My name is Jessica and I’m raising money for my 10-year old nephew’s medical bills. Conner tested positive for Covid on November 10, 2021. Nearly six weeks later, just after Christmas, he was transported by ambulance to the hospital where he remains in the ICU on New Year’s Day after being diagnosed with MIS-C caused by his prior Covid infection.

The stay in the ICU spans calendar years, so medical bills will be higher than if this had occurred in one calendar year. Conner will hopefully be transferred out of the ICU soon but will still have to be in the hospital for a few more days after leaving the ICU.

Everyone who knows Conner’s parents knows that Dani and Mike are the first to help anyone in need. Many of you have asked me what we can do to help them in this tough time. They wouldn’t ask this for themselves but I know that every little bit would help.

Dani and Mike would also want to spread the word about MIS-C. This Covid complication does not generally occur immediately after the initial Covid infection - on average it occurs 3-6 weeks after the child tests positive for Covid. Please watch for these symptoms and get your child to a doctor as soon as possible if you notice similar symptoms after a Covid infection.
