In August I found out I had a coronary artery blockage and had a stent placed. As part of the recovery I was put on Plavix which is a blood thinner. Plavix caused a tumor in my colon to bleed after I would go to the bathroom. A colonoscopy confirmed that I had stage 3 cancer. I was lucky that my chemotherapy was available as a pill. I was able to work through all of my chemotherapy and radiation sessions except for the day before Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving I felt too sick to work. So I've had payments for an angiogram/stent and now chemotherapy and radiation.  On January 9th  2018 I'll have surgery to remove the tumor. I have two weeks of paid time off but I'll need to be off for 5 weeks total--3 of that without pay. Any help would be greatly appreciated
