Chris has battled liver disease due to an autoimmune condition called PSC for several years now. Up until recently, he's done very well, maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle. He stayed active and worked full-time. Recently, his condition worsened, and after lots of tests, it was determined he is now in decompensating liver failure. He is now on the transplant list and awaiting organ donation. Medical bills and expenses have mounted quickly, especially with having to relocate to Seattle for care while awaiting the transplant. Post-op is requiring a mandatory additional 3 months of relocation in the Seattle area. Our overall goal is to raise around $10k, broken down into smaller goals. Lodging post op is expected to cost $7500-9,000 depending on whats available. The overall transplant is expected to cost around $2 million without lodging and medications included.
