Celebration of Life will be held on Monday May 2nd from 3pm to 8pm at the Orioles Community Center
475 Orioles Dr, Lehighton, PA 18235

Chester "Cheetah" Kleintop passed away unexpectedly on April 25, 2022. He was only 41 years young. Loved by many and already greatly missed, we are asking for donations for his creation and after life expenses. Chester also went by Chessie, not just Cheetah. He worked for Split Rock Resorts since 1999, where he received his nickname of Cheetah since he was so fast in the kitchen! Chester had strong roots with family and would do anything to help out and make people smile and laugh. Favorite football team? No question it was Penn State. We couldn't go 1 Christmas without him asking for a new Penn State item. He loved hiking and being outdoors. Campfires, running through the woods, and seeing the beautiful scenery were some of the things he loved to have/do. Two weeks before his passing, his two surviving siblings and him went to Ricketts Glen State Park to see all the waterfalls, and that was the best day he has had in the last couple months of his life. He is going to be greatly missed. Our family cookouts will never be the same without him. We are hoping Gram (Great Betty), Mom (Kathie), Uncle Kyle and him are keeping the campfire warm.

Some posts from people who loved and knew Chester:

I cannot even express the sadness I feel right now, Chester Kleintop you were the best, truly a one of a kind. My heart aches to think that I will not see you again. I hope you are at peace and that mom and Gram and Kyle were there to greet you on the other side. Until we meet again Cuz.

Today is a very sad day for my family, we lost my cousin Chester. He will be greatly missed by many. I know he will watch over us with the rest of the family, while sitting around that big campfire in the sky.

Hard Time writing this.
The world was robbed of one of the most genuine, kind-hearted, down to earth, loving, caring, family first men ever created.
I’ve had the pleasure to meet thousands and thousands and thousands of people during my time on earth and none were finer then Chester Kleintop!!!
Rest Easy Friend. We will all miss you my man!!! Every time I grill, camp, or have a family function we will always toast you.
Prayers to Ian Kleintop Jane Ryder Shyanne Louise and the rest of the family.

Chester was such an all around great guy and hard worker. I was able to keep in touch with him over the years when I worked at the local bank. I know how important family was to him and how much you all meant to him
