Help with Carol's medical costs

Our sister, Carol Schmick, was diagnosed with stage III cerivical cancer. She underwent surgery to remove her uterus, tubes & ovaries May 8th. During the surgery, they found cancer in her lymph node causing them to stop the surgery leaving her uterus behind, as chemotherapy & radiation are now in her future. She is on medical leave from her job, which is a new job she started in October 2022, which leaves her without a lot of paid time off. With this endeavor, she will be accumulating quite a lot of medical bills. Jeff has recently retired in October of 2022 and they were not planning for these expenses, as no one would. She has begun her treatments which are 5 days a week of radiation therapy and 1 day a week of chemotherapy. This has been a very difficult time in their life and we are reaching out to our family & friends to try to ease the financial pain of this situation for Carol & Jeff by asking for your help. All funds will go to Carol's medical expenses.
