Hi,

I am one of the many friends of James Luna, otherwise known as the man that can do, build, and create anything!

Jimmy has been a light shining in a dark world to many. He has always collected and helped people along his life journey. He is the kind of man that is always the first to help and give to everyone around him. Whether it be a kind word, an amazing story, or a heart felt gift he personally made someone in his shop.

As many of you know, he is a full time caregiver to his sweet wife of 40 years who is suffering from dementia. These two are wonderful people and their story of love is both inspiring and rare. The way he takes care of and treats his wife in these challenging and difficult years is a great reminder of what love is.

With that being said, many of us have been wanting to help but have not been sure of how to go about it. Caregiver burn-out is a very real thing when you are taking care of someone suffering from dementia around the clock. We would like to raise some extra funds for James to get an occasional and much needed break to recharge his batteries. He has been paying out of pocket for agencies to help every once in a while but the cost adds up quickly. The agencies the state will cover do not have enough caregivers right now to help him.
