I am starting this fundraiser for myself and my husband after a terrifying car wreck turned into an overwhelming financial burden for our family. On August 20, 2026, my husband was driving North on the Garden State Parkway on his way to work when a driver in a white car, reportedly going over 100 MPH on Parkway South lost control, overturned,and struck him. Our car was totaled in the crash and was taken to B&L Towing in Carteret, New Jersey. Right now, the vehicle is still being held for an active police investigation, which means I cannot access it or remove it until the investigation is complete.
- While we are trying to move forward from this traumatic experience, the impound and holding fees continue to grow. My insurance is not covering these charges, so I am being forced to pay them out of pocket. So far, the fees have already gone over $2,500, and they are still increasing while the investigation remains ongoing. How your help will be used:To pay the impound and holding fees
