Help For Three Survivors of Horrific Car Crash

Donation protected

Update: Thank you all SO SO much for showing up for these three wonderful people. We have made it passed our initial goal of 25,000! I want to note that I have adjusted the goal to encourage donations since the initial set goal is most definitely under what some of the bills they are facing could look like. I highly encourage to continue donating even when our initial goal is passed. Thank you all again for being so amazing.

On the way home from working a catering event, Jenn Marrone and two others were struck by a drunk driver going the wrong way on 295.   Jenn is in critical condition with a severely injured leg. Two other passengers, who will remain anonymous for the time being, have critical injuries as well.

As friends, family, and community we are heart sick by this news. our goal is to alleviate financial burden for medical costs, time off of work for recovery, and car repair. We also ask to keep them and their families in your thoughts and prayers as they undergo surgeries and transition into recovery.

If donating at this time isn't accessible, spreading this page is a great help as well.

About Creator of Fundraiser:
My name is Irene Hayes, I live in the Portland area and I am a fellow Caterer and friend to the three survivors. I was driving behind these three in the accident, by about 5 minutes. I wanted to create a place for people to give, considering so many were so ready to help. The funds will be used to help the families through this healing and recovery period. This looks different for each family, however some of the survivors are unable to work, drive, attend school as usual, have unexpected expenses, etc.

TO DONATORS:
The families receiving these funds are the O'Donnell Family, the Ackerly family, and the Marrone Family. These funds have always had the intention of being split equally between the three survivors. In an effort to have full transparency, it is important you all know that the funds will be initially and very briefly be put in my account in order to distribute funds split equally between the survivors outside of GoFundMe. This is because GoFundME only allows for one beneficiary, not three.
