Help With Our Capitol Good Friday Service

Donation protected
For 30 years, the Christian Defense Coalition has been a loud and passionate voice for religious freedom and the First Amendment here in Washington, D.C. and across the nation.  Above you can see a picture of our Good Friday Service and Prayer Vigil at the U. S. Capitol Building from 2020.

Tragically on March 24, 2021, we heard our permit to have a Good Friday Service at the Capitol on April 2 would NOT be processed and we were denied the right to have our prayer vigil.

While we understand there is a fence around the Capitol Building, there is still regular business taking place.  Members of Congress are meeting and so are their staffs. The media and their crews are allowed into the Capitol as well as invited guests.  Lobbyists are allowed in. So are vendors and others.

However, peaceful First Amendment activities and prayer
vigils are prohibited from taking place.

This marks the FIRST TIME in 30 years, we have been denied a permit to hold  a prayer vigil at the United States Capitol Building!

The Christian Defense Coalition needs your prayerful and financial support in fighting for religious freedom and the First Amendment, as we plan to file a federal lawsuit the week of March 29 seeking an injunction to allow us to move forward.

We would prayerfully ask you to consider sending a gift to our safe and secure Good Friday GoFundMe campaign to help us fight for these basic freedoms and rights for all Americans.  Blessings and thank you for standing with us!
