Help with Cancer care for Vaeda

Since Vaedas diagnosis we waited a month to find out the specific genetic type of the neuroblastoma. Praise the lord she doesn’t have the really aggressive type. A referral was made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, but she was denied because they aren’t currently researching newly diagnosed neuroblastoma. We are in the process of transferring her care to Children’s hospital in LA because they are rated 2nd best for children’s cancer treatment, and they currently have 4 studies going for neuroblastoma. She has an appointment in early Feb at Valley Children’s Hospital for updated scans to check the status of the tumors. We are extremely grateful for everyone’s generosity. It has helped us pay bills, cover missed wages, and pay for the many trips back and forth to Fresno.

My granddaughter Vaeda is 6 months old and has been diagnosed with metastatic neuroblastoma. She is currently admitted to Valley Children’s Hospital for extensive testing. As you can imagine, this is taking a financial toll on her parents. Unfortunately, we don’t know what the future will hold at this point. They may be missing work, and traveling back an forth often.
