Help With Caleb’s Final Expenses
Donation protected
On Halloween night, Mike and Sallie Anderson’s 28-year-old son, Caleb, was the victim of a terrible tragedy. While walking home from work, he was struck by a car while he was in a crosswalk. Caleb suffered a fractured skull and a traumatic brain injury. He underwent multiple surgeries over the next 24 hours, but at 2:28 A.M. on 2 November 2022, Caleb Warren Anderson passed into eternal rest with his Lord and Savior.
Through this Go Fund Me effort, Mike and Sallie’s many friends have an opportunity to help provide resources to pay for Caleb’s final expenses and to honor the life of a hero. Why was Caleb a hero?
Mike says, “Even though he was autistic, he understood, and he made his own choice on his driver's license to be an organ donor. We honored that final request.”
Because of Caleb’s selfless gift:
• Someone will receive a double lung transplant,
• Someone will receive his heart (the luckiest one of all in Sallie’s opinion),
• Someone will receive his liver,
• Two people will receive a kidney.
The family has been notified that through his other gifts he will benefit and save more than SIXTY people over the next five years.
In the midst of the unthinkable loss of their much-loved son, Sallie says, “Caleb, you have done more in death to be a hero than any of us could ever hope to accomplish. You ARE a good and faithful servant! Love is not something you DO. Love is who you ARE!”
Our friends, Mike and Sallie, are loved by many. You can donate to honor Caleb and to help with his final expenses, through this GoFundMe link. All funds will go directly to the Anderson family. Plans for Caleb's memorial service will be announced when arrangements have been made.
